Rahsia tarikh lahir, bulan lahir, nama? Aura seri? Sains metafizik?

‘Rahsia’ tarikh lahir? Bulan kelahiran? Nama? Kenali diri melalui ‘sains’ metafizik? Kuasa ‘aura’, ‘tenaga dalaman’?

A metaphysical statement usually implies an idea about the world or about the universe, which may be reasonable but is ultimately not empirically testable or able to be proven.

Thinking skills – Lateral thinking quiz, episode 1

This quiz is called Lateral Thinking, forwarded to me via email a long time ago by my ex TESL student at UiTM Perak. Scroll down slowly, be honest to yourself AND try to think like a wizard.

By the way, lateral thinking was a term coined by world famous thinking guru Edward de Bono, for the solution of problems through an indirect and creative approach. Lateral thinking is about employing reasoning that is not immediately obvious and about using ideas that may not be obtainable by using only traditional step-by-step logic – to understand and solve all sorts of problems.

The term first appeared in the title of de Bono’s book New Think: The Use of Lateral Thinking, published in 1967. Now, see how far you are able to think laterally, sideways and upside down!

Blog@Teech post-it 04: “I’ll be back… and now, I am back!”

And we meet again, after months of keeping mum. It is supposed to be just a simple change of this weblog’s theme, but as always where html and css are concerned – nothing is ever ‘simple’ and time is consumed with a big gulp.

The original ||Blog@TeechConsult|| page header

Blog@TeechConsult now sports an Albeo short dress, err i mean, cool manly macho shirt. Kudos to the designer! The reason why i have chosen to use this theme is not because it is so gay and colourful, but due to the fact that the art nouveau-ish design goes hand-in-hand with the ‘new’ New Teech Times (make sure you visit TNTT too).

Now, as the new semester has started, time to move back to ye olde TeechConsult.com to prepare more learning support materials for my undergrads. Sehingga itu, teruskan membaca Blog@TeechConsult dan The New Teech Times, dan jangan lupa tinggalkan komen, kritikan serta saranan anda.

I am back. I am back. I’m back!!!

After quite some time thinking, rethinking and also rechecking the status of teechconsult.com/blog, i have made the difficult decision of abandoning the Nucleus platform for a public presence at WordPress. I know, i did write that several earlier attempts to make WordPress work was doomed to failure.

But, a public presence should give more exposure to this weblog, and hopefully to TeechConsult later on. Sadly, the 3GB free space given by WordPress is very small compared to the 375GB disk space that TeechConsult.com has.

Only monkeys blog, says a Malaysian monkey politician (who now has started his own blog)!

Blog@Teech post-it 02: Welcome to Blog@TeechConsult… finally!

This is actually my first full entry, after more than a month trying to install a blog on TeechConsult.com. I gave up on WordPress, as it is S L O W and opted for Nucleus, which is a bit restricted in terms of design and stuff but hey, it’s faster and personally methinks it’s more responsive to my tweaks.

Me, trying to build TeechConsult.com and this blog
